Thursday, November 19, is Give to the Max Day, Minnesota’s annual celebration of generosity! The Downtown Minneapolis Neighborhood Association (DMNA) invites residents, businesses, and friends of our downtown neighborhoods to support our work by making a donation.
Throughout the year, the DMNA brings neighbors together through community events, neighborhood initiatives, and opportunities to connect with one another. These activities help build relationships, strengthen our sense of community, and make downtown Minneapolis a more welcoming and vibrant place to live, work, and visit.
Your generosity helps make these opportunities possible!
Contributions received through Give to the Max Day will help support our 2027 community programming and events, including:
- Neighborhood Day: A fun, family-friendly celebration that brings residents together to connect with neighbors, enjoy activities, and learn more about community resources.
- Take a Kid Fishing Day: A community and family-oriented event designed to introduce children to the sport of fishing and the outdoors.
- National Night Out: An annual summer tradition that strengthens neighborhood connections and brings residents, businesses, and public safety partners together.
- Community Social / Annual Meeting: An opportunity to celebrate our neighborhood, recognize accomplishments, connect with community members, and help shape the DMNA’s future.
Donations will help cover event-related expenses, community outreach, promotional materials, and other costs associated with making these programs accessible and welcoming to all.
As a nonprofit neighborhood organization, the DMNA relies on funding from the City of Minneapolis, along with the generous support of residents, businesses, and community partners, to carry out our mission.
