We are excited that the Aquatennial Torchlight Parade will return in person
this year as part of the Aquatennial lineup, and we look forward to seeing
you on Wednesday, July 21.
The Parade route will follow Nicollet Mall. There will be a temporary road
closure at Nicollet Mall on Wednesday, July 21st, from 6:30 p.m. to 10:30
p.m. for the Minneapolis Aquatennial parade. Closed streets at Nicollet Mall
will be South 12th, 11th, 9th, 8th, 4th, and 3rd Streets. Streets that will be open
across Nicollet Mall will be South 10th, 7th, 6th, and 5th Street.
During this period, temporary traffic control will be set up on closed cross
streets allowing two-way traffic. Access to your driveway/parking garage
may be altered from 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Please be aware of potential
traffic pattern changes and follow Traffic Control Officer directions.

Aquatennial Fireworks will take place on Saturday, July 24 over the
Mississippi River. Pre-Fireworks festivities include live music, food and
beverages, and local vendors. Plus, listen to the fireworks pyro-musical on
