The Downtown Minneapolis Neighborhood Association (DMNA) is excited to begin planning for our annual National Night Out Celebration on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at The Commons.
This signature summer event is one of our most anticipated community gatherings, bringing neighbors, families, businesses, and partners together for an evening of connection, celebration, food, and entertainment as part of National Night Out.
We Need Your Support
To make this year’s celebration a success, DMNA is seeking financial contributions from residential buildings, local businesses, and community partners. Your support directly helps us keep this event free and accessible to all who want to attend. While the DMNA receives some funding from the City of Minneapolis, we cannot use it to support the costs of food and entertainment.
Donations will be used to support:
- Entertainment
- Food and refreshments for attendees
- Youth and Family-friendly activities
- Event logistics and site operations
Why It Matters
National Night Out is more than a neighborhood event, it’s an opportunity to strengthen relationships, build community trust, and celebrate the people who make downtown Minneapolis a vibrant place to live, work, and visit. With your partnership, we can continue to grow this tradition and make it even more meaningful each year.
How to Contribute
If your building, business, or organization is interested in supporting this year’s celebration, we welcome your partnership. Every contribution, large or small, makes a BIG difference. We will recognize your contribution via our website, e-newsletter, postcard mailer to residents, and on signage at the event.
For more information or to request an invoice, please contact DMNA at [email protected]. You can also make a donation via our website at https://www.thedmna.org/donate/.
Thank you for helping us create a welcoming, inclusive, and joyful National Night Out for all who live and work in the downtown community.
