During the planning process for Phase I of the Neighborhood Revitalization Program, the Downtown Minneapolis Neighborhood Association identified four strategic priority areas to target investment: Arts, Culture & Education; Crime and Safety; Downtown Development; and Housing. These four priorities carried forward to Phase II of the Neighborhood Revitalization Program, as well as in the Neighborhood Priorities Plan.
The goal of the Housing / Homeless Outreach strategic priority is to maintain and build upon the strength, vitality, and stability of the neighborhood by providing a variety of housing opportunities to meet the needs of all members of the community.
