Are you passionate about creating a safer, more welcoming downtown? The Downtown Minneapolis Neighborhood Association (DMNA) is looking for community members to join its Safety & Security Committee.
This volunteer committee brings together residents, business representatives, and community stakeholders who are committed to improving safety throughout downtown Minneapolis. Committee members help organize educational programs focused on personal and community safety, advocate for safety improvements, and share important safety information and resources with the community.
The committee meets on the second Thursday of each month at 5:00 p.m. Meetings are hosted by committee members on a rotating basis, providing an opportunity to visit different downtown businesses and organizations while building valuable connections with others who care about our neighborhood.
Whether you’re a longtime downtown resident, a business owner, or someone who simply wants to make a positive difference, we’d love to have your voice at the table. Together, we can help make downtown Minneapolis an even safer place to live, work, and visit.
For more information or to express your interest in joining the committee, email Howard Cohen at [email protected]. We welcome new members and fresh perspectives!
