Important neighborhood meeting scheduled for June 24, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at Open Book, located at 1011 Washington Avenue South.

Want to learn more about what is happening in the Downtown East neighborhood? Are you curious about the new Vikings stadium design and when construction will begin? Have you seen the redevelopment plans that Ryan Companies recently announced for the Star Tribune properties?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, please join the DMNA, and other downtown Minneapolis neighborhood organizations, for a collaborative meeting on June 24, at 6:30 p.m., at Open Book, located at 1011 Washington Avenue S.

Michele Kelm-Helgen, chair of the Minnesota Sports Facilities Authority will give an update on the new Vikings stadium project, and Mike Ryan and Rick Collins will preview the Ryan Companies East Village redevelopment proposal for the Star Tribune properties.

This meeting is being co-sponsored by the Downtown Minneapolis Neighborhood Association, the Mill District Neighborhood Association, Elliot Park Neighborhood, Inc., and the East Downtown Council.
