The Downtown Minneapolis Neighborhood Association Membership will vote on a proposal to form two independent neighborhood associations. Public informational/feedback sessions will be held to prepare the Downtown West and Downtown East neighborhoods for this vote.
The DMNA serves Downtown East and Downtown West neighborhoods. On September 21st, DMNA Members will vote to accept or reject a resolution to form two independent neighborhood associations that will serve East and West respectively. Anyone who lives, works or owns property in Downtown East or West is eligible to vote.
To prepare the two neighborhoods for this vote, four informational meetings/feedback sessions will be hosted by the DMNA and facilitated by City staff. This will be the public’s opportunity to learn the details of this proposed change and provide input on the future of our neighborhood association(s).
