The Minneapolis League of Women Voters, along with the below organizations, will be hosting a Candidates Forum for the District 3 Hennepin County Commissioner Seat on Monday, July 13, from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., at the Central Public Library, in Pohlad Hall.

• Downtown Minneapolis Neighborhood Association (DMNA)
• Lynnhurst Neighborhood Association (LYNAS)
• Kenney Neighborhood Association (KNA)
• East Isles Neighborhood Association (EINA)
• Reviving Sisterhood Islamic Empowerment (RISE)
• Stevens Square Community Organization (SSCO)
• Ayada Leads

Six Candidates have filed for the seat. All candidates who are on the Primary ballot have been invited to participate. This is a nonpartisan race.

The primary election is August 11, at which time the top two vote getters will move onto the general election ballot  General Election is November 3.
