DESCRIPTION:Join the Shared Mobility Collaborative and Move Minneapolis for the 2025 Transportation Summit. \n 8:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.\n Wednesday\, November 12\n Studio 900 at The Hennepin \n No cost to attend! \nThis event will bring together transportation professionals\, business owners\, employers\, community members\, and advocates to discuss the challenges and opportunities of integrating artificial intelligence into shared mobility. Following a keynote presentation on how AI currently interfaces with Minnesota’s transportation system\, a panel presentation from local transportation leaders will discuss use cases of the emerging technology and what the implications may be for our travel and commute patterns. \nThe day will also include time for networking and interactive discussion. Light breakfast and beverages will be provided. \nThere is no cost for this event\, but registration is required. \nMeet the Speakers \nKeynote: \nTara Olds\, Director of Minnesota’s Connected and Automated Vehicles (CAV) Program \nTara leads policy\, planning\, research and testing of emerging transportation technologies. Tara works to advance safe deployment of CAV technologies and to promote equitable and sustainable transportation systems. \nPanelists: \nTammy Meehan Russell\, Founder\, President & Chief Catalyst of The PLUM Catalyst \nPLUM Catalyst’s mission is bringing together innovative partners by using Passion\, Learnings\, Understanding\, and Mobilization (PLUM) to help bring new transportation technologies to those who need them the most. \nNick Martini\, Senior Vice President of American Student Transportation and Northstar Bus Lines \nNick has worked in pupil transportation for nearly two decades for both school district and private contractor entities. \nErik Hansen\, CEO of SouthWest Transit \nA long-time advocate for transportation and transit\, Erik founded the transportation management organization Smart Commute in Denver and has served on the governing body of a metropolitan planning organization\, public highway authority\, airport authority\, and numerous transportation committees.
