Site challenges and hotel/residential partnership changes forced adjustments to the initial design. To secure funding for the project\, Public Works has begun early planning and public engagement. The City will present initial design concepts to the DMNA Land Use Committee. (A first round of public meetings were held in February. After a February presentation from City staff\, the DMNA Land Use Committee requested that City explore alternative designs that would preserve parking along Gold Medal Park. DESCRIPTION:The Downtown Minneapolis Neighborhood Association Membership will vote on a proposal to form two independent neighborhood associations.    Public informational/feedback sessions will be held to prepare the Downtown West and Downtown East neighborhoods for this vote.  \nThe DMNA serves Downtown East and Downtown West neighborhoods.
