DESCRIPTION:The DMNA and the City of Minneapolis are co-hosting an Emergency Preparedness Training called “Ready Camp” on Thursday\, August 20\, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.\, at the Central Public Library\, in the Doty Board Meeting Room. \nThe training is limited to the first 40 people who RSVP.  Please RSVP via Eventbrite. \n\n\n\n\n\n\nPurpose\nTo provide you with knowledge and skills to: \n\nBuild an emergency kit\nDevelop a communication plan\nNotice signs and prepare for severe weather\nRecover from an emergency or disaster\nLearn about homeowner’s and renter’s insurance\n\n\n\n\n\nTraining topics\nYou will get the most out of this class if you have interest in: \n\nPublic safety\nEmergency communications\nWeather preparedness\nHealth and wellness\n\nAll are welcome to attend. \n\n\n\n\nWho can attend \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAll ages are welcome\nChildren 17 and under must be with an adult\n\n\n\n\n\nOur free training includes\n\nEmergency kit supplies\nTraining materials\n\nDownload the training material document
