DESCRIPTION:Come celebrate Fall\, football season\, and our community coming together to keep our downtown clean and beautiful. \n\nGreen Minneapolis has partnered with Keep America Beautiful\, Castrol\, and the Los Angeles Rams in their efforts to clean up litter in each city the Rams play a game in this football season.\n\n\n\nThey are hosting a volunteer litter cleanup in the downtown neighborhoods adjacent to U.S. Bank Stadium on Saturday\, October 9\, 2021. Local sponsor\, the Minnesota Vikings\, will provide their downtown Vikings Longhouse adjacent to U.S. Bank Stadium for the event. DESCRIPTION:Let’s make sure our downtown streets are as healthy\, beautiful\, and green as they can be! Join Green Minneapolis for the 2020 Annual Downtown Tree Census. Volunteers will be trained in identifying sites for street trees to be replanted next spring. Data collection can be completed any time before October 15th and submitted easily through a digital texting platform. DESCRIPTION:  \nIt’s almost time for the Fall Tree Census! Green Minneapolis is looking for volunteers who love trees and want to help grow the downtown forest! Join them at one of two Greening Lab kick-off events this September to join the effort. \nAt the event\, volunteers will sign up for for a route to survey trees in neighborhoods across downtown. They will also receive a short training session\, tree swag as a thank you for participating\, and be entered into a raffle for our tree lover prize pack! \nThe events will be held Thursday\, September 19 at The Commons and Tuesday\, September 24 at Peavey Plaza. Both events run from 4:30-6pm\, with a presentation at 5pm. \nClick here for more information\, and RSVP to info@greenminneapolis.org by 9/13 to participate.
