The DMNA has been engaging with the East Downtown Council District Branding effort and invites residents to participate in the Mill City Times online survey.
The background of this naming process includes exploring the synergies of Elliot Park and Downtown East/Mill District Neighborhoods as broad collaborators of new economic opportunity as the center shared space between the neighborhoods is being transformed. The East Downtown Council has worked with more than 40 organizations (including the neighborhoods) in order to identify key challenges, benchmark several other urban districts and branding processes, and draft a brand vision statement, purpose, pillars and structure. The stage is now set to move on to phase two: specific brand names and images, and a marketing and implementation plan. Please provide input!
