In Re: Block E Development Objectives -- Need for Public Space
Dear Phil:
After reviewing the "Block E Development Objectives" that you sent us, the Board of Directors of the Downtown Minneapolis Residents Association would like to provide feedback. At the December 19, 1995, monthly meeting, the Board took a position strongly favoring the "Providing Public Space" objective.. We feel that although downtown has "green space" at both the North and South ends, there is very little in the heart of downtown. Public space can add great character and vitality to an area and would be a great asset to the neighborhood.
Sincerely,
Paul W. Barber
